Accessible & Inclusive Places Videos
Bowen Island in Vancouver has over 12k of trails and glorious space to explore.
However, it wasn't accessible to all, but thanks to a great community spirit a grant funding was approved for an MT Push - all terrain wheelchair to be purchased for people to use free of charge.
The all-terrain wheelchair can be borrowed from the Bowen Island Public Library, thanks to a grant from the Bowen Island Community Foundation, making Crippen Regional Park more accessible.
Watch the video for further detail about this great community story...
Visit Mountain Trike website for more information about their all-terrain wheelchair products.
