This week National Trust Clumber Park held a Disability Awareness and Accessible Day.
Mountain Trike were delighted to have been invited to the event to showcase our off road wheelchair products and to discuss with other National Trust staff how our products are already improving accessibility at some National Trust gardens and outdoor spaces around the UK.
We were delighted to be joined by one of our Mountain Trike customers, Steve Hughes (and his four legged friend). Steve is a huge advocate of Mountain Trike having been a customer for nearly six years and also our eTrike test rider, so it was great to have Steve's assistance and input on the day.
It was a very busy and hot day, we met some lovely people and it was great to hear about how they are addressing accessibility issues.
Some of our all terrain wheelchair products are already available at many National Trust and Heritage sites around the UK. Visitors with limited mobility can use these free of charge to enable access to the landscaped gardens and grounds.
We're delighted that we'll also be at the National Trust Fell Foot Accessibility Day next week on the 19th July, when they will be opening their new changing room facilities.
