The Mountain Trike all terrain wheelchair products have been designed to help people with limited mobility to get outside and enjoy those all important outdoor places.
Whether that is a trip to your local park with your family, exploring woodlands with your dog or even getting up that hill to enjoy your favourite view.
The Mountain Trike has many components similar to those found on a mountain bike such as air suspension, hydraulic brakes and chunkier wheels. Riders are always amazed at the type of terrain that’s possible to tackle and how easy it is to manoeuver the Mountain Trike. However, it does take time to get used to riding the Mountain Trike, particularly mastering the unique lever drive system which is where the steering and braking are controlled.
It is also important to make sure that the Mountain Trike is right for you, which is why we always recommend test riding the Mountain Trike and taking advantage of our free, no obligation, home demo service so you can try the Mountain Trike in and around your home setting.
Benefits of a home demo
We arrange a suitable time and day to visit you at your home which is a very convenient option.
You can invite family / OT’s etc to be part of the demo.
You will have a fully detailed product overview from experience staff before the test ride.
During the test ride our experience staff will be with you and on hand to ensure you fully understand the controls and can provide riding tips and advice.
You can test ride the different Mountain Trike models to find the right product for you.
You can test ride direct from your home and use in places you might frequently visit.
You can check to see if it will fit in your car for transport in garage / shed etc for storage.
We can discuss and recommend options for adaptations, modification and accessories.
We won’t ever rush the process of a home demo and you are under no obligation to purchase.
How to arrange a demo
If you live in the UK, Roger from Mountain Trike provides our home demos, please email us or call us so we can arrange this. We will need your postcode and best contact telephone number and ideally information about which model you are interested in.
If you live in an area where we have a UK distributor we will pass your details over to them. Your local distributor will be able to provide the demo and if you subsequently go onto purchase they will manage the sales process with you, as well as be your point of contact for any after sales care.
