Not all of us live in the countryside and that’s why we have developed the Mountain Trike to work well in urban settings too. With 3 independent shock absorbers, the Mountain Trike rides over cobbled streets, gravel drives, up and down kerbs as well as city parks and pavements with ease.
The third wheel at the back offers stability, hydraulic brakes give all weather control and the shock absorbers offer a really comfortable and safe ride.
When I’m in my regular day chair I’d go out of my way to avoid cobbled streets and kerbs due to the discomfort and jarring on my body. However the Mountain Trike is a different chair altogether - whilst you still get the bumpiness of cobbles it is much smoother and they are comfortable to ride over thanks to the air suspension of the Trike.
Using the levers and brakes kerbs can be easily negotiated at your own pace. So, when I’m in my Mountain Trike I have no worries when I head out to my local town or come across cobbles or uneven pavements.
The Mountain Trike is a different chair altogether thanks to the air suspension of the Trike.
