The Kandu Group presents... Making the Most of Now

The Mountain Trike Company is part of the Kandu Group - a group set up some years ago of disability related businesses to help improve the lives of disabled people. This month (November 2020), we are holding a series of interactive online events.

To say that 2020 has been a washout is an understatement. It's bought uncertainty and pain to millions of people, and for many disabled people who have had to shield, it's been even harder.

But there are lots of things you can do to Make the Most of Now!

The three events will focus on a different aspect of life: mental and physical wellbeing, home life and accessing the outdoors.

Each will include discussions from our experts, all of whom have years of experience of disability, with many being disabled themselves.

They'll also include practical elements that will give you actions to take away, and are interactive, so you can ask questions throughout.

Week 1, Tuesday 10th November at 5pm: Boosting Your Mental Health & Well-Being, hosted by Martin Sibley from Disability Horizons. RECORDING NOW AVAILABLE TO WATCH.

Week 2, Tuesday 17th November at 5pm: Getting the Most out of Home Life, hosted by Rob Smith from Active Hands. RECORDING NOW AVAILABLE TO WATCH.

Representatives from G.D Cooper Architectural Services, Trabasack, Accessible PRs, JMS.

Week 3, Tuesday 24th November at 5pm: Accessing the Outdoors, hosted by Guy Harris from Accessible PRs.

Representatives from Access Adventures, Loopwheels, Mountain Trike, Freedom Wheelchair Skills.

All events are free to join via the Kandu Facebook Page (the events will also be streamed to all the groups Facebook pages, if you'd prefer to watch and interact with us that way). If you aren't able to join us all events will be recorded and will be available to watch after the date.
