Mountain Trike Company sign up new distributor in Australia

The Mountain Trike Company who manufactures manual all-terrain wheelchairs has recently secured a distributor in a new territory – Australia. Push Mobility who are located in Melbourne but also have premises in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Broome and Hobart. Push Mobility are dedicated to providing disability equipment that is fun, exciting and pushes the boundaries of what disability equipment should be with an aim to help facilitate a healthy and more social way of life.

Talking about the new distributor Managing Director at Mountain Trike, Tim Morgan says, “We have been looking for an appropriate distributor in Australia for some time and have been in discussions with Push Mobility since the Autumn – we felt they were a great fit for our Mountain Trike products, their vision is very similar to ours and I am thrilled to be able to announce Push Mobility as our new Australian distributor. Push Mobility has a proven track record at successfully selling other active mobility products and has excellent links with rehab units. In the past we have sold direct to customers in Australia but it will be great to now be able to direct our Australian customers to an approved distributor in their country where they can provide both pre and post-sales support.”

Ben Ashton, from Push Mobility, says, “When we first saw the Mountain Trike we knew it would fit in perfectly with our product ranges and service we provide to wheelchair users – we loved the bespoke offering and flexibility from the team at Mountain Trike who in the same way that we do, have the end user in mind at all times. Over the last few months we have been gauging market interest and we’ve had a fantastic level of interest and enquiries from customers wanting to try and buy the Mountain Trike. We are looking forward to taking delivery of our demo model and taking the enquiries through into orders. For wheelchair users to be able to access the incredible outdoor areas we are so fortunate to have in Australia will I am sure be life changing and I can’t wait to feedback the adventures I have no doubt we will receive from Trike customers!”

Update: as of 2018 Push Mobility in Australia no longer have a demonstration mode of the Mountain Trike, therefore sales of our products to Australia need to come direct from the UK
