Mountain Trike wheelchair company sign up new Norfolk Experience Centre

New Mountain Trike Experience Centre in Norfolk

Potential Mountain Trike customers wanting a demonstration in the East of England can now visit Open Trails who operate from the Norfolk Coastal Centre for Independent Life (NCCFIL) and have just become an approved Mountain Trike Experience Centre.

The NCCFIL offers the local community a one stop destination for independent living in Norfolk and Suffolk. Supported by a dedicated team of volunteers the purpose build ‘Independent’ Living Centre provides non biased support on equipment and local services. The Coastal Centre has designated demonstration areas laid out to provide a realistic setting to view equipment and accessories. The service is supported by local Occupational Therapists who assist the volunteers with training to demonstrate equipment effectively.

Gavin Gardner, Service Manage at NCCFIL, says,

“The Mountain Trike is a great piece of kit and we’re delighted to be working in partnership with Open Trails to provide an approved Mountain Trike Experience Centre. We have every confidence that users will see the benefit of the Mountain Trike to live a more independent lifestyle. We have just received our first demo model and we are looking forward to offering demo’s to customers living in the South and East of England. We have been fortunate enough to receive funding for a second demo model which will allow us to offer a hire scheme for long or short trips. We are located near some fantastic beaches and trials – for wheelchair users to be able to access these in the Mountain Trike will be brilliant to see and I’m looking forward to offering demos and hearing about our customer Trike adventures.”

Talking about the new Experience Centre, Managing Director at Mountain Trike, Tim Morgan, says,

“It is great news that Mountain Trike demonstrations can now be easily offered in the East and South of the country and we are thrilled that NCCFIL is our new Experience Centre. We know how important it is for customers to try the Mountain Trike to make sure it is right for them - our other UK Experience Centres work really well so having a dedicated Experience Centre in Norfolk is a great location and area for customers to have a demonstration and test the Mountain Trike over various terrains. We are looking forward to growing our customer base in the East of the country and in time it would be great to see group rambles and get togethers in the same way they happen in other areas of the country.”
